My paint supplier has a new Devilbiss Finishline 3, Gravity feed HVLP spray gun. It comes with a 1.3,1.8 and a 2.2 tips. The cost is $143.95 plus tax. Do you pro's think that spray gun will be good enough to spray my El Camino and Chevelle using PPG'S Basecoat/Clearcoat ?? I will be using a cheap gun to shoot the epoxy primer. Well, what do you guys think ?? Thats about all that I can afford since the cost of the paint supplies will cost me around $1,200.00 . Is that the plastic gun? It's not a bad gun, I used my 1.8 tip for spraying single stage. I would get the 1.3 tip.

All 3 tips are included with the gun.

Hi Mark,
I bought the same gun to do the paint on my 64 Chevelle. This was my first paint job and it came out great. I used the 1.3 tip to spray DuPont BC/CC. Before purchasing the gun I did some asking on hotrodders.com bulletin board and everyone seemed to agree that it is a good gun for the money. I think you would be pleased with the performance.

A good friend of mine has used that gun for years and it works just fine.
