I live in Santa Barbara area and I am getting close to ready to pull the body off my Chevelle. Just wondering if anyone knows of a good media blaster anywhere in central coast area or northern part of LA county. I am thinking of Sand blasting the frame on my own and possibly the door jambs and creveces on the body, but leaving the main body panels to a proffesional that can plastic media blast. I had a nightmare experience on an old 49 ford pickup when I sandblasted a little too much. Thanks, Erik

Erik, there's a powder coating company in Goleta that does sandblasting as a prep for the powder coating. Pretty sure they will just sandblast your stuff if you don't want to get it coated. The name is Santa Barbara Industrial Finishing, number is 683-1711. Hope this helps!
