Is there something that goes between the metal inner fenders and the frame on a '72? It looks like the inner fenders on mine are going to rub on the frame and eventually make both look terrible.

My car had the inner fenders off when I bought it, and there's no damage on the frame from previous rubbings......

Not to mention the squeaks. There is a rubber strip approx 1/4" thick that attaches to the inner fender to prevent the rubbing you describe. I don't know of any available. I applied two strips of Ultra Black sealant on the backside of the inner fender at the potential rub location and let them dry before installing the IF. It's hidden and serves the purpose.
