Can anyone tell me what body parts are still available from GM? I have heard you can get fenders from off GM dealerships IE Cadillac at a cheaper price than a regular GM dealership. Any truth to this?

I doubt the price issue is true. If a GM parts is available it can be ordered by and from any GM dealership. As with any purchase ask for a discount. Some dealers may be willing to discount and others may not. There is mark-up. And a sale is a sale. Also remember profit is not a dirty word. That's why we all get up in the a.m. and go to work.

Chances are if you need help looking up part numbers a Chevy Dealer may still have old books to help. The Cady dealer may only be able to research Chevy part numbers YOU supply.

Don't know what sheetmetal is still available. Make a list and give your local Chevy Dealer a call. Doesn't cost any thing to ask.
