Just make sure they aren't so hard that they brennell, (mark/indent), your heads.

And I think you can buy copper headgaskets now that have a seal stencilled (Sp?) on them so they don't leak coolant like they usually do when ran on the street b/c they aren't raised like regular steel shim headgaskets are that seal better.

If it is a SB motor please consider Fel-pro's # 1094's b/c they are .015" thick and are rubber coated and can be used with aluminum heads. BB, don't know if Fel-pro has a BB gasket like them or not??

Just food for though here.....

I have been using the SCE Titan copper gaskets...They have the embossed seals in them.I am considering switching to aluminum heads and just want to make sure that There won't be any other issues.I have a set of the Fel-Pro wire loc gaskets (1012) However I have my block "o"-ringed so I don't think I can use them now.
