Do the horizontal bars have argent paint going up to the chrome/trim piece? Or is the entire grille blacked out with the trim piece giving the highlight? Generally the same question for the extensions....

I've read numerous archived posts on subject. I've also studied a '69 sales brochure and can't tell. I Realize the catalog (repro) grille is 300. I've got one still in plastic bag that I guess I'm going to send back. I'm going to just try to get my existing grille looking right so I need to know which color to paint it on the upper, center and lower ribs.

The thick horizontal bars the middle and lower chrome trim pieces mount on are Argent back to where the indentations (about 1/4" square and about 1 3/4" on center) are that match the thin horizontal bars. From there back they are black along with all the thin bars.
