Karl, I forgot to ask you this last weekend while at your shop. Anyway I want to dip a few chevelle parts doors, deck lid and some spare parts for my 49 fenders, running boards etc.

I want to believe you metnioned taking a tour to a chem dip operation for a Northstar club meeting. Do you happen to remember that company or recommend a good one? As we have nothing in this hell called IOWA smile.gif ...Eric

Eric--- Name of company is Precision Rust Removeal. Owners name is Kirby Mclaughlin (I think)
He is spendy, but I have been very pleased with the results. First he media blasts, then places panels in dip tank with an electrical charge. The solution in tank is NOT acid, it is a food based product. This process removes paint and RUST. Don't know the outcome on reinforced panels like hoods and trunks.
He is located in Long Lake, just west of Wayzata on Hiway 12.

As for my "Other" project am heading down there this weekend for alittle research got a heads up on another opportunity that opened up. So yea Ive got my fingers and toes crossed.
