Hi all,

this is just my second post, so bear with me. I just bought my Chevelle after a lifetime of wanting one. I'm pretty mechanically inclined (I was a bicycle mechanic for 7 years), but am just starting to learn how to work on cars. I just finished a power disc conversion (mostly) on my own. Here's my question. The car tracks just fine under normal driving, but pulls pretty significantly to the left under moderate to heavy braking. I originally thought the culprit was uneven braking force, but the new brakes would have cured that. Any suggestions or is more information needed? I would suspect that it's worn shocks? Thanks in advance for any help.

if it pulls when brakes are applied, then it is due to the brakes not applying even pressure to each side. could be a bad flex hose, pluggage in line, air on one side, caliper dragging or not retracting completely, bearing too tight, bent rotor, etc. look carefully at the brake workings.
