On my Chevelle, I did a cam change and the brakes don't seem to work as good as they use to. I installed a Competition Cams, 280/510 lift, the car generally drives well but has a hard brake problem when coming to a quick stop after 30 mph.

I am not sure if it's a master cylender problem or not enough vacumn for the master cylender booster. If so, I have read of using vacumn tanks for the brakes but do they actually work? Has anyone experienced this problem befoe?

Thanks
Kent

Many have been where you are! How many inches of vacumn do you have? A vacumn cannister can certainly improve or fix the problem but if you really want to suck your eyeballs out try a hydroboost system.... WOW!
