Hey gang,
My brother has an opportunity to buy this truck and he asked me for some advice on this possible purchase. I said to him that I'm certianly no expert on these old trucks, but maybe someone here is! It runs/drives, has the original drive train, rock solid floors, no rust bubbles or rot anywhere, just chipped scratched paint areas, and needs some tlc. I told him it looks good for its age, but do you guys think its worth the $2500. asking price? Attached are some photos.

HELL YEAH it's worth it!!!!

Shoot, a classic truck with a factory 396 and factory air????

You tell your bro if he don't buy it then I'm going to! I'm wanting to find me a '67-72 Chevy truck like that, and I even have the $2500 in my pocket ready to buy!

Some guys get all the luck.

I just happen to have a '69 myself. He had better snatch up that dude for $2500. That's a CST model, the highest trim level for that year. With a factory big block it's a keeper. You can get most any part for it a lot of new and repop parts out there. It's easy to add accessories such as power brakes or upgrade to disc brakes. Can't go wrong for the money.

Seems like a no-brainer to me. Is that a short bed or long bed? Short bed is WAY better...

I'm gonna go a little against the grain and say look around before you buy it. With gas prices up, around here A LOT of those trucks are hitting the market. There might be some more deals out there. If you have done the shopping, and the market you feel the price is good then get it.

Gas prices may be high but I'd still give $2500 for it.
