Hey, As the title says, I need a Frame for my 69 Malibu. It's frame is rusted pretty good. I know where to find them (what cars I mean) Having trouble locating one. What should I look to pay for a bare frame? Or a roller.

$200-$400. be sure to look at the typical places they crack. which is right behind the front suspension, as the fram starts to turn downward. there are oval holes there. typicaly cracks will start to propagate out from those holes. also if you find one that does not need bushing mounting holes repaired you are ahead. take a tape measure with you. do some cross measureing to see if it is straight. check diagonally from a front bushing hole to the opposite side rearward bushing holes, then reverse. they should not be more then 1/2" off 1/4" difference is fine. http://members.aol.com/smartasreality/page5.html

I am in Springfield, Ohio a couple hours from you.

I know where one is not 10 miles from me. Price should be very reasonable. I am getting some suspension parts off of it.

Send me an email and I will let you know how much it is supposed be.

I just bought a roller for my 65. Cost $450. Got a good rearend, steering box, motor mounts, trans crossmember, springs, bumper brackets, etc. Had to go 200 miles to get it but being a roller I just lashed her on the ole tow dolly and brought her home. Good luck. Hopefully the one that DG found will do it.

I have a complete rolling frame from a 69 Malibu with Powerglide that I would be willing to sell. I have not looked closely at the crack locations but I will if you are interested. The frame is from a Georgia car and is very rust free. Drop me an email if you would be interested. It is located near Atlanta.

I have a 1968 Malibu parts car with some of the body parts missing. I think the frame is in good shape. One of the front brake drums is locked up from sitting. It is complete. My plan was to scrap what was left after I scavaged what I wanted off of it, but if it will help one of my fellow Chevelle owners then I would be willing to sell the complete rolling chassis. Let me know. You can email me directly @ Billys68SS@aol.com
