I'm building a 396 in the future and was wondering what are the best heads to get for it. I have the 3872702 heads now. What would be a upgrade? Not really intested in aftermarket heads. Goal would be 450 to 475 horse and around 500 foot pounds.

Those heads will work 2.19/1.88 valves with a good 3 angle valve job,gasket match is optional and bowl cleanup is all you need for your goals.
