I am looking to get the body work started on my chevelle this summer. I am taking it to sacramento to get the paint stripped(walnut shells), and i was looking for body shops around my area(north bay/san francisco/sonoma) I was just wondering if anyone on this forum has had body work done in the North Bay area. I have read the whole thing on how to look for a shop, but i like hearing from people that have actually been to the places. I am a college student, so hopefully i could find a place that could not do all of the car and want a huge chunk of money, but rather do it in pieces, thanks in advance- Eric

Contact MartinSR on here. If he don't know of any, he may know a resource.

I would be suprised if the Sacramento area didn't have some good places for paint as well. Likely to have less "issues" in Sacramanto area with the "air police" so the job may be better and cheaper there.

I lived in Sacramento for 10 years, but never had to have a car painted there. I would think the Roseville area would be the first place I looked. They have a lot of car related businesses in North/East Sac area.

There's also a Sacramento Chevelle club. I am sure some of them guys could guide you to a good place.
