68chevyed Jul 27th, 04, 12:58 PM has anyone used these i need to buy one or a set for a 68 ss. right now i have a missed matched set of 1 above fender and 1 below fender thought by elongating hole it would work but now i see that it opens at a differnt angle :mad: just want to get car on the road delays,delays would appreciate any advice or if you have any original hinges you would like to part with if the repro are no good thanks ed 70isfine Jul 27th, 04, 6:20 PM Held a pair that seemed real flimsy.Also heard a few here that had some problems. I ended up buying a used set on EBay and all of the hood line up problems went away after installing them.....the repro hinges have sloppy fitting pins and are loosee goosee......By the way......the hood on the Nova in the Pic's now has a reshaped hood due to a "Nitrous" explosion graemlins/angry.gif Ken http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/SS396Convert/nova.jpg | ||
