Ive installed a few headliners and have always wondered if it would be easier to use miniature clips instead of glue to hold it on. The clips would seem to be stronger and make for easy stretching if needed.
So, do people already use these? If so, where can these clips be purchased? Or if not, why aren't they?

I don't think there is room for the clips under all the moldings that cover the edge seams. Might also tear the headliner being held every three or four inches instead of all the way around. Not sure, just my thoughts

Ditto!
Having just done one, the clips are great for holding the headliner in place until it's glued- - - but- - - -I don't think the trim would fit around any of the clamped on pieces. I think even something like a paper clip would restrict the proper fit of the trim.
