I have my fenders installed on my 72, but i am having trouble with the gap at the front between hood and fenders being to close. Is there a trick to this? I dont see how to adjust it.

I may be wrong but as I remember the fenders bolt to the radiator support with the bolts laying horizontal and going sideways through the fender into the support that is up behind the fender, does this sound like what you see? If it is, you may need to "force" it out. If I were at work I would take my friction jack and a block of wood at each end so the fender didn't get damaged. The only tool I know that you may have to do this is an old bumper jack. You slip a piece of tubing over it use it to push the two apart.

MARTINSR,
Do I place the wood where the hood would sit when closed? There are four bolts holding the front fenders on, two horizonaly and two verticaly.

Has anyone else had this problem?
