I was wondering what the drain hole in the cowl sides looks like and where it's located. Right now the wole bottom is a drain due to the fast that the car was stored outside without the cowl screens in place. Leaves and debris caused the bottoms to fill up with water when they did not drain properly.

I can't be positive, but here goes. Mine was also rusted out and while I had the bad area cut out, I looked things over for drain holes. At the best I could see, I believe that they are located where the cowl metal is pinched with the rocker panel. There was a small, very small, gap there. I widened it up by inserting a flat blad screw driver and spreading it open more. Hope this helps.
