Please help!!! My 1/4's were so rusted out I have no clue how the filler panel is suppose to be welded in. Is there suppose to be a gap between the two of them in the trunk???

red 65 Oct 5th, 04, 4:18 PM Well You didn't state the year!My 65 has a gap between the inside 1/4 and trunk extention.The trunk pan is welded to the top of the extention on the flat, then theres a gap about 1/2 inch wide between that and quater panel.Is that what you mean?
