Somebody please tell me this can be done.... I recently purchased a set of 17x8 and 17x9.5 wheels for my '68 C10 pickup (pics in my sig). This was shortly before I was able to unexpectedly acquire my uncles '69 SS. Of course the bolt pattern on my the wheels are 5x5. Is is possible to make these work on my chevelle? I know the rear axles will have to be redrilled or replaced, I can live with that as I'm planning some rear diff upgrades. But what about the fronts? Can I just get some different rotors with the 5x5 bolt pattern? Thank you.

You could use the B-body tall spindles with 12" discs, or re-drill the stock rotors I guess. To my knowledge, there are no direct swap rotors with 5 on 5 for stock chevelle discs. 71-72 impala rotors might be worth a try though... I believe they were 11" with 5 on 5. If they call for the same bearings, It would probably work.

sell the truck and buy the correct rims for the chevelle. Or just buy new wheels, much cheaper than the headache of adapters, or re-drills.
