I am looking at a 1970 Chevelle SS 396 with a bench seat and an automatic on the column, could this be a true SS? Everything else on the car looks to be of the SS package.

There was a recent post on this subject regarding LS-6 cars, I have seen on of these and some folks on this site have that setup.
