HI Guys, I new around here and joined because I have been having a bear of a time trying to figure out if these are off a Chevelle or not
I have a set of 12",
2 piece rotor,
4 piston brake/ splindle setup.
5 on 4 3/4 bolt pattern
I don't know what they came off of.
they came in the trunk of my clapped out 67 camaro.
they look to be front steer
they have Delco Morraine cast in the calipers with the numbers
5455946
other numbers include
5454008
3909788
anybody got any ideas or what they are worth?
I have pics but can't attach them

5455946 should be correct for outer cast of a Chevelle, Tempest, or Firebird.
5454008 might be correct for the inner casting. Probably is. I have 5456008. Camaros had smaller pistons than the others as far as I know. There was a difference in line inlet fitting diameters betwwen yrs, so that might be it.

3909788 is a mystery to me.

The rotors should be just over 11", not 12", measured flat across the back.

Corvette 11.75" rotors 2 piece are hat over rotor, riveted. 67- early 69 A/F/G bodies, 11", and maybe others, are 2 piece, hat bolted inside hub. Vette brakes have a different (smaller) caliper cast though...

You might have big car (B body) brakes. I dont know much of anything about them.
Pics might help.

edit for oops#s & stuff

Pics are too small for me.
With 12" rotors and 5x4 3/4 lugs, and the large bore calipers, I would have to guess 67-8 Impala.

67 camaro chevelle and novas with disk brakes came with 4 pistons but I don't think that they where 12 " corvettes had 12 with 4 pistons

I got a cool link off the v8buick board about calipersonline.com who rebuild the 4 piston calipers
they are thinking 67 chevelle but unsure.
going to dissassemble the spindles to have parts glass beaded or cleaned to get more #'s
