I just aquired a 1970 Eldorado, all original 500CI FWD. Ive got all the papers and the POP, It was even bought local. Thomas Cadillac. Everything is original and even has some NOS replacement parts in the trunk. Even the original Jack is still in the box in the trunk. It has set for over 10 years and I dragged it out of the hole and fired it up saturday but the carb is clogged, fuel system needs to be reworked and many things need to be fixed or replaced. Coolest uglyest car ive ever seen tho. Im wondering whats the value of the car? would it be worth it to fix it up some? what do you guys think?

Personally,I like the old "Eldo's".

When I was just a wee lad, (okay, mid-teens), my older sister's b/f had a '70 Eldorado convertible. Sweet car, rode around in it with the top down a few times. I like. :thumbsup:

Nice cars and they are climbing in value..last cool looking year..71's and up are OK,but nothing beats the 67-70 bodystyle.

I got a motor from a '70 DeVille, just shy of the Eldo power... It was the funnest engine I've ever had! No one could fgure it out. There's a few companies that do performence parts-CadCompany is probably the biggest and best. Edelbrock even makes intakes for them. fel-Pro has good gaskets.

If you egt rid of the car-keep the engine. Ther's a decent market for it 'cause it was the biggest and highest rated from Caddy.
