Hi all! I've been workin on my 66 ss and was wondering why the pass. and driver side inner wheel wells are shaped so differently. Why does the drivers side have a big square "hump" in it?? Is it something to do with convertables or what? Just wondering...... Thanks!!

My guess is that the used the same one for the wagons and Elcaminos. If you look closely it looks like the indents for drilling for the gas filler door are prestamped into it. That's the only explaination I can come uo with.
