my hoses from vert motor to lifts are dry rotted and need to be replaced does anybody know what this entails (directions would be very helpful- I'm a female and will try to do this with my brother) also where can I get the hose assembly that I would need. I found them in NPD for $50each(needing 2) can I get them cheaper somewhere? Thanks for your help, it is greatly appreciated.

If you're talking about the nylon/plastic hoses that go from the
pump/motor to the cylinders get them for both sides !!!!!!

The ends used on the hoses are special, I've tried to locate but no luck !!

Buy the NPD's or from OPG

Don't skimp !!!!!! You'll be sorry !!!!!!The mess ain't worth it when a cheap job blows fluid all over the place !!!!!!!!!

Here are some threas to help you out !!

Well, if NPD/OPG tells you its on back order..........I would recommend using a parts place that specializes in convertible parts only. Hydo-e-lectric in Punta Gorda Florida ( 800-343-4261) does convt parts only. Or www hydroel dot com . But they also have selection...white nylon hoses....black rubber...and so on. Those black rubber pump grommeets you can find there for a buck a piece and many hard to find parts for converts.

Theres alos some good write ups on flushing your pump/hose system on this site that may be usefull too.

Good luck

True story.....a friend of mine use to be a manager at a Chevy dealership. His parts department sold more parts to NPD that it required semi-trucks to deliver all the parts. Add 20-50% and sell it to guess who? Only half of one of the NPD wherehouses has parts, and the other half has the owners personal car collection in it, and it is impressive. Also, he refuses to do kits/combo's to save customers money, thats why opg has a leading edge.
