While putting my 66 Chevelle back together I have misplaced the core support bolts. I have called several people to find out the size of the bolt but am not having any luck. With all of the wisdom on this tech forum does anyone know what the size of these bolts are supposed to be? I have had guesses for 2.5 inches to 4.5 inches and from a 1/2 inch to 5/8.

They make a kit with bushings. Ground up sells them. If you don't want to do that and have everything except the bolts. Put everything together and measure. The bolts do have a tapered end. I think they are the same as the body mounting bolts.
