Have a chance to get a great deal on a 396 from my bro in law. This motor would be going into a Jeep that weights about 4500lbs and would be runing a 13" ATI high stall in a TH400. Super low end torque is not needed since I am running VERY low gearing . What I need is a very strong mid range for mud/sand running. I do alot of rockcrawling and street as well. Need a set up that can do it all.
