im puting on a partial 1/4 ive already put my trunk extentions in to meet the 1/4 should i weld my 1/4 or fuse it on ive used fuser a lot for smaller stuff any advice would help

I've heard alot of people using the glues to fit panels on. I can't give info for long term, so I guess I'm being old fashioned and like my welding to secure things on.

For me, I'd weld it.

I just got done putting both 1/4's on my 72 and I welded the top edge and glued the bottom edge from door edge to the rear bumper..That's what everyone I talked to said to do.That way the glue gets in the seams and seals it against rust.Use lots of clamps and make sure the panel fits real close b4 you glue it http://www.chevelles.com/forum/biggrin.gif

Weld the top,glue around the wheelhouse.Any seam that is visible should not be glued.

thanks for the advice i i think i will weld the top cause on a long edge i'll get read through on the finish and thats a disaster thanks again john
