Been a long time since I played with leaf springs. For the moment I just want to change out 1 front leaf spring bushing. Need some how to suggestions.
Basically I jack the frame up until the wheel is slightly off the ground. Correct?? Remove the bolt holding the front of the spring on?? Do I need to support the leaf spring or because it's arced up it doesn't drop??

We're A-body guys, what do we know? What you said but lift it high enough so you have room to drop the spring enough. Use a floor jack under the axle to take the weight so it's not hanging from the spring. Nothing will drop if the jack is holding up the axle, the spring is permanently arced. Then you can use the jack to lower the axle and lift it back up into place.

No outer sleeve on a Camaro/nova type body but some import P/U's have them.

Generally, Yes. It would probably be best to knock it out with a pneumatic hammer. If it is worn enough, it may fall out.

I'd support the frame just in front or behind the spring bracket to take the body weight off of the axle/spring. Then put the floor jack under the spring perch at the axle. On my truck it is a pretty tight fit, you have to use a cheater bar to get the spring to "drop" out if the bracket and required using a bottle jack to push it back into place. My bushing were good so don't know about removing them but they were not loose.
