I am sure that it can be done by yourself for a lot less that 190 and look good if you take you time. 1badss396 Sep 24th, 05, 1:15 PM I started to do mine and it looked great when I was done but it was not perfect till I sent it to Steve. He rewinds motor new brushes replate motor polish plastic cover relube new resistors, recalibrate, that is just a few things Steve does to the wiper motor and pump, and he does alot more too complete rebuild correct colors..He is the only guy that has all the correct stuff for them. fatboy95 Sep 24th, 05, 11:01 PM You know I just thought of something... what about putting a wiper motor with delay on it in a chevelle... does anyone know the if this is possible... I am not restoring my chevelle for show or originality.. but for my tastes... HemiTCoupe Sep 25th, 05, 9:04 AM Use lithium grease, it's unaffected by cold, and you should be able to get almost anywhere. Pat |
