: Welllll
1BLACKHARLEY Sep 23rd, 05, 10:56 AM it's still not a b.b. ss chevelle, but i found a 71 cutlass last night. 70k original miles. you can eat out of the engine compartment. needs door panels, but rest of interior is perfect. needs a radio, and the a/c fixed. the car is a semi 442 cloned. gold wheels, and some hurst type stripes. car is solid, clean, runs great and 99.9% there. and for what the cali market brings, i even paid a decent price for it. i'm still actually kinda stunned, i was able to find a car this clean. i looked at about eight cars recently, and most were either real turds, or just to much $ for what they were. this seems to be a solid deal for a solid car, even my wife was all smiles on the way home last night. they're still out there, just getting harder to find....let's see, a 442 hood, intake and cam, this thing could be a real screamer........

$6,500. IN CALI, PRETTY MUCH ANY ROLLING CHASSIS FOR ANY MUSCLE CAR IS $5K. FOR A COMPLETE, RUST FREE CAR WITH 70k ORIGINAL MILES, IT'S A PRETTY FAIR DEAL. THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT IS THE CLEANEST I'VE SEEN IN YEARS. CAR IS A SOLID DAILY DRIVER. EXCEPT FOR THE A/C AND RADIO (WHICH WILL BOTH BE FIXED SOON) EVERYTHING WORKS.....NEW TIRES, BRAKES, RADIATOR, NO CRACKS IN THE DASH, ALL GUAGES WORK, NEW EXHAUST (DUAL), ALL GLASS IS PERFECT, ALL NEW WEATHER STRIPPING. PROBABLY THE BEST TEN FOOT CAR I'VE SEEN IN YEARS....I DON'T KNOW IF THE LINK WILL WORK, BUT I'LL TRY....

this may be a little extreme. just go for the divorce. It's not worth jail time ;)
PGreen Sep 23rd, 05, 1:27 PM Blackharley, 11K when it gets home. 98% original and complete. I have been saving for years to buy this car. If I didn't jump now I don't think it would be affordable to buy one in a year or so.

Chevelle408 Sep 23rd, 05, 4:42 PM Did you ever go to the '69 Camaro auction?

1BLACKHARLEY Sep 23rd, 05, 5:23 PM Did you ever go to the '69 Camaro auction?
no, the guy called me a few times, but i had a set budget, and he was starting at the far end. it just wasn't going to be a good deal for me. someday, "the" car will come along, and i'll be ready. it just isn't meant to be right now. but this olds will be fun to play with until it comes along....anybody in the market for a 64 elky, b.b., 4 speed, and more new stuff than i can remember?
