The assembly manual shows passenger side fender brace going from bottom of fender to inside valance/skirt bolt, but I can't find drivers side view and the two braces I have are different lengths. My first question is are they suppose to be the same length? And if not where does the drivers side attach to?

Mine were the same length. Are you sure they are both for a 66? Did they come off the car?

I thought they were all the same length, I need to buy a pair, maybe its just 68-72. Sounds like you have a different year, or possible differnet vehicles fender brace?

Rich, Is it possible that one of the ones you have are for the dash support where the heater controls are? They are similar, but I think they are different lengths. I don't remember which one is which off the top of my head.

Hi Guys, part of the problem is the car was apart when I purchased it and since this person was dealing with several Chevelles I think he started throwing parts in a pile to go with this car. This being my first Chevelle project I couldn't tell if some parts where off this car or not.(I will not make this mistake again). I think the dash support has a different angle but I will double check. I think I was given two different length fender supports. Can anyone tell me how long the supports are.
