: SS hoods, what is difference between 68 and 69?

I just got another 69 chevelle, it came with an SS hood but no hinges, the latch on the core support seems too tall for it, also the spacing between the hinge bolts is closer. Is this possibly a 68 hood? If so will 68 hinges fit my fenders properly?

thanks,
Thor

Yes, the hinges fit the hood (either '68 or '69 but not both- the '68 hinge bolt holes are spaced closer together). But the hinges will fit either fender, '68 or '69. So a '68 hood will fit a '69 if you use '68 hinges, and vice versa.
