is a 70 rear valance the peice under the bumper the same for 71 - 72 as 70 chevelle? going to swapmeet in morning thanks for your help.

Hey Gary I'm not sure what the difference is, but they are listed as being different. Maybe due to having a different bumper.

Yes they are different. 70 Stuff is one year only as for bolt on body panels go. (except hood and trunk) So if you have a 70, make sure you get stuff for the 70, not 71 or 2

I put a 72 panel from a salvage yard on my 70 a few years back, but it required waddling out the 2 bolt holes quite a bit on the panel, as well as the bumper in the license plate area . Can't tell it once the license plate is installed.
