going by the part numbers, it appears I have GM plastic inner fenders for a 70 - 72 Monte Carlo. When I bought them, I was told they were for a 68 - 72 Chevelle. Do these interchange? If so, what (if any) are the differences? TIA.

I put metal inner fenders on my 70 Monte Carlo, fit like a glove. Had to drill a hole in each one for the front lower marker lamps.

Bill

I put metal inner fender wells from a 68 Chevelle on my 71 Chevelle to replace my original plastic ones. They fit with no problems, direct bolt in.

Yeah Bill, that's what I meant. Monte Carlos came with plastic inner fenders only from the General. You should see the looks on some of the faces at car cruises when they see the metal ones on my car. http://www.chevelles.com/forum/smile.gif

John I had a hell of a time locating inners for my 65. the ones I found at swap meets were mostly crap. I could talk to my neighbor to check some bone yards when he goes west He's on a cruise right now.. Rick is a truck driver (Car hauler) Let me know.

I need P/S pump and brackets for my 65 the ones I fabricateds are not fitting. Hey if you need my 110 wire feeder let me know. see ya.

Hey T-man lets get together at Johns and talk about my trans.
