The bottom bolt underneath the fender won't stay bolted, Ive replaced it (nut & bolt) and it still pops loose when I hit a bump. Is their a trick to this, am I missing something.I'm gonna loose my patience and weld the son of a &^%$ soon.

I don't fully understand. Is the bottom of the fender moving in or out?
Maybe you need to loosen some of the bolts at the top of the cowl to let the whole fender "move" into the position you're forcing it to with the bottom bolt. That's all I can really think of.

Greg. are you talking about the bottom bolt that fasteners to the cage nut inside the lower cowl ? These tend to break off when remove or rust out in that area.
A fix I have used in the past is to cut out a metal patch drill a 3/4 hole. I say cage nut but in fact it's a piece if threaded flat stock . I then buzz out the patch area on the lower cowl and weld in the new patch with the nut/fastener behind it.
