does anyone know the strike dates for the chevy motor division in 1969, also what did it affect, ie; assembly or????? when did it end also, thanks mike

I am notsure of the dates but it seems that there were a lot of strange combinations due to the strike with using whatever was available and would fit. I have heard of Buick seats in at least one Chevelle that was supposedly unmolested.

I believe I had El Camino body bushings in mine.

I heard of a short strike in April/May timeframe but not aware of any oddities resulting. There was a shortage of interiors in the 68 model year and many got Buick or Olds seats and were so coded on the body tag but not aware of any 69s with odd interiors.
