Been reading heating core replacement post and in reading it it says to drop the inner fender well. I'm thinking as I read this there is no way for me to do that as my inner fenders are installed under my fender lip.
My question then is this; Do the inner fender wells get installed over the fender edge at the wheel well or under the fender? TIA Pete

Under the fender...in other words, the inner fender edge is closest to the tire. The fasteners go up thru the inner fender and bolt into a J-nut attached to the outer fender's lip.

Here is a page from the assembly manual that will help show how it goes together.

GREAT now another thing to "correct". I reinstalled them the way they came out so evidently someone along the way changed them. Also the replacement inner fender well I got had the j-nuts on it so I again assumed that the inner fender well went under the fender lip. If it's not one thing it's another. Thanks for the input. Have a wonderful day guys and gals. Pete
