on my 66 chevelle im not sure what you call it but its the piece attached to the radiator and attached to both front quarter panels on the very top, their are two bolts one each side, well on side has completly broken off, do you know what i mean? it looks like a rale that runs accross the top of the grill along the whole width of the car. this one side is broke, and i can move it back and forth, my radiator moves alittle also, how do i patch this up? i dont want this piece to move around and touch my fan! is it called a radiator support? please help clarify, and what would i need to do to fix this? is their some kind of patch with two holes in it that i can mount on this rale and bolt it in to the the quarter panel?

The part you are describing is called the radiator or core support. Specifically, the top "rail" is sometimes called the upper tie bar. It bolts to the FRONT FENDERS. The quarter panels are located on the rear of the car.

Based on the sketchy description, I can only guess that the fix is to reweld the area where it is broken.
