Can we get some input here to find out which vendors are preferred for authentic parts at a good price. No trashing company's. Just honest feedback of people's transactions.

I like Year One. They are open late, the people are knowledgeable, they offer a lot of stuff, and their catalog gives a lot of pictures and detail descriptions of what the parts are.

Danchuk, Year One, True Connections and Muscle Factory are the only suppliers that haven't given me lots of grief before. Though of the bigger suppliers, I havent used NPD or Ausleys before.

True Connections is the best vendor I have dealt with, they have helped me when no other vendors could.

True Connections....very knowledgeable, good pricing, great parts, and great service. I have ordered a ton of parts from them and have encountered zero problems.

ground up, excellent to do business with good prices and sometimes free shipping.++++ Then a distant second year one, very nice people.

The good part about Year One is that they will take something back even a year or more later (unless they changed that policy). I've had good luck with Lutty's Chevy also. I try to order from companies on the East Coast to save on shipping cost and time.

When I was looking for a bunch of parts for my 67, I emailed 3 or 4 of the 'larger' vendors for pricing. NPD was the only one to respond so they got my money. Order shipped complete and I had it in about a week even crossing the border. Next time I need anything, I will call them first.

I have never bought from True Connections, but again when I was looking for some mounting clips for some chrome trim, I emailed several vendors. He was the only one to answer. They could not supply but suggested I try a local auto body repair shop. Again, I dont have any buying experience, but appreciate them taking the time to respond, and steer me in the right direction. From the above threads it looks like others have bought and were pretty satisfied.

Both get thumbs up from me.
