: Window Buetl (sp?) Removal

I'm getting my '70 ready for media blasting and am trying to remove the old buetl from around the windshield and rear window frames. I've been scrapping with a putty knife, but it's like trying to remove salt water taffy!!

I've got most of it off, but I'd like to finish the job to clean it down to the metal.

Any suggestions on some kind of chemical to remove what's left?

TIA!

lacquer thinner and a rag works.

FYI - if starting from scratch, I think I heard of someone using an electric knife. I'm fairly sure I didn't imagine this. Hard to tell at my age

Thanks!

I'll give the laquer thinner a try. As for the electric knife, I may need it for my wrists before this project is done!! lol!! graemlins/clonk.gif

A good Sharp Gaskit scraper, and a wire wheel on a drill to finish up. Works Great!
