A friend of mine has a 70 ( or /71 ?? ) Monte Carlo and the top of the dash can be removed to allow access underneath. Does the 67 Chevelle SS allow similar access to the thing like ign switch and headlight switch ? Seems like a long reach to have to reach underneath ... I can check for myslef tomorrow, but, if I can get an answer tonight, it will help me plan for tomorrow ... thanks .... sdt

I've had my 66's ign switch out several times. The setup looks identical to my old 67. You have to reach up from underneath.
