Well, I remember taking twisted chrome bumpers and all the chrome off a 64SS Malibu and have everything re-done/polished for $600 15 yr ago. That's impossible today.

The thin molding pieces are usually not redone, such as wheel moldings, window moldings, and things of that thin nature. Usually, a rubbing bar compound and wheel is used to polish them out. This works well on taking out small scratches and imperfections.

Lately, I searched the web, sent out photos for estimates, and got shellshocked. Some places wantede $75 dollars a piece. I found one guy in Belot IL who has great prices, and is committed to a great job, and their website is www.vickermanschrome.com. I have had luck with them.Lead time varies on the amount of work ahead of you, the pieces you send, and their quality control.
