I have a 71 Chevelle that I am installing a SS gage dash into. What I need to know is what location does the hot wire plug into the bulkhead connector for the distributor. Someone before me has installed a HEI distributor, removed the original switched 12 volt wire to the coil from the engine harness and ran a new one from switched power that ran through a hole in the firewall. I have repaired the hole and want to hard wire the switched 12 volt wire going to the HEI distributor to my dash harness. What terminal location in the bulkhead connector would this be?

Terminal BX.

On mine, it was the left side (passenger side) group, 2nd row from bottom, far right prong whatever that slot is. It's an easy check with a test light before you separate the bulkhead connector.
