On my son's F*rd Ranger the heater fan doesn't work on heat or A/C. The fuses are good and I replaced the resister bank. I tested the connector at the motor, the ground is good but there isn't any voltage on the other wire no matter what position the fan switch is in. If anybody has an idea where to go next I would appreciate suggestions.

My wifes 98 Ford Escort had a resetable breaker up high in the driver's kick panel on the fuse block. Her fan got water in it over the winter and froze up and tripped the breaker open. Once I found the darn thing I just pushed the button in and it reset until the water got back in it and froze up. It was a very small button maybe 1/8" diameter and stuck out about that much from it's housing.
Just verify like I did with her car the motor works by jumpering a fused 12V line into the power side of the motor. If it spins then the motor and it's ground is good.
I never was lucky to find any online help (probably why I like the Chevrolet's better).

Thanks, Jim. I'll give that a try.
