Having some power steering issues when trying to install a 671 blower on my 71 chevelle 350. In order to ease some tension off the crank I have went from a long to a short style pump and the short style doenst have any bolt holes for the pump. PROBLEM: Now when trying to fit the pump on (with all the short style brackets I took off a sbc truck) it all fits fine but there is not enuf room for the pulley (it hits the gearbox). Anybody have any thoughts? Is there a bracket system to use that may work aftermarket? Thxs PAUL.
