I found a clip on the cowl section of a Chevelle in the junkyard several months ago, but did not know what it did since mine had none. The clip looked like it would contact the hood but I never found it in the assembly manual. Well, you never know what and where you will learn things so I frequent scan ebay. Item# 7996577250 was this clip but the seller lists it as part# 3980141 on page 878 and 879 of the 1970 Chevelle assembly manual. I agree on the part number, but the way I read the manual is that those pages are supercede by page 877. Correct?
