It's not cheap! But you could block it up and build a crate around it using plywood and leave room for a forklift skid on the botton. You could bolt it onto 2 or 3 pallets and nail them together then cover it all with plywood.

Then call yellow freigh or other LTL trucker and get a rate. I guess it should weight around 200 lbs all stripped plus the crate weight.

You could ship it without the crate, but they will probably scrape it all up and maybe bend it moving it around the truck terminals.

Best way of course is to put in the back of your pickup and have a road trip!

Good Luck

in what condition is the frame in. Are you trying to ship a bare frame or one with all the suspension on it.

I just shipped a frame from Amarillo TX to Niagara Falls NY for $147 thru Yellow Freight. What you need to do is ship it uncrated and claim it as bare steel. If you claim it as a car frame the class changes from class 50 to class 300, in my case the $147 for shipping would have went to $587. Make sure you have everything documented when shipped as far as class and price, when the frame arrived here in NY the freight trrminal tried to change the class on us, but because we had everything documented from the freight terminal in TX, they couldn't do anything about it.
