So, I'm considering removing the body off of the frame so I can give it a quick clean-up and paint. Problem is, I got one 1/4 panel off of the car. Would it tweak the body if I removed it without the 1/4? Just wondering, cause I got the time and material to do it, while I wait to get the 1/4 panel. What are your thoughts?

I would put the new quarter panel on before I lifted the body off. If it were to tweak just a little bit you could have major problems when you tried to reattach the quarter panel. Most guys either do all of their body work before lifting the body, or after putting the body back on the frame.

Definitely get the 1/4 panel hung. I could see that opening up all kinds of problems. I have been reading up on this and it seems as though most high end shops fit the new metal and try to align everything for fitment before they pull the frames from under the cars.
