Just curious if anyone has experience with either of these intakes. I'm in the mix for an intake for my future Quadrajet that i'm putting on the car.

I have the RPM on the Nova SS. Works fine even with the 3.08s the car has. It seems to have lost a little right off of idle from the std Performer but it is stronger by 3000 rpm. I did need to put one of the moroso 4 hole 1/2 in heat shields on it because of heat problems but I used an intake gasket that had an open heat riser on it when I really shouldn't have.

Used many Wieand 8004 on boat motors, and street cars, works great witha Qjet.

Never used one but through the years a lot of guys have said they like the old 8004 on mild motors.

I've been using a 8004 since 1987, on a mild 350. Have nothing to compare it with, but it performs just fine.
