i would just like to thank everone who help me figure out what i was doing wrong. re shot the primer 2 coats and looks fine. last bit of block sanding and it turnes out fine. can i wipe down car with naptha as gease remover.now onto color prob. origianlly wanted to go with denim blue but afraid that any little inperfection would show up. cars gonna be a daily driver and in nyc that menas dings with in minof hitting streets. so thought maybe second choice of silver might be more forgiving and look better over long haul. painting on tue so any adfvice welcome... wish me luck. 2 months wort of body prep work 5 hours a day before heading to work thank you

Don't use napatha or thinner use Alcohol very sparingly or you'll take your primer
my I ask why you need to degrease after blocking out your primer???

He's not really degreesing just final wipe down. Should be any mmanufacture wax and grease remover. I use PPG DX330.

just cleaning B-4 painting- don't use solvents/thinners, I use Dupont Final-Klean
One lint free synthetic shop towel to apply
and a clen one to wipe it dry.
